MANILA – The House of Representatives on Monday authorized motorcycles as public utility cars (PUVs). House Bill 8959, which allows and regulates motorcycles for general shipping, becomes permitted using 181 lawmakers on third and final studies. Italsoy mandates the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to set and modify the fares, costs,s, and other essential operations charges. The invoice also gives penalties for erring motorcycle-for-lease operators. Motorcycle experience-hailing platform Angkas had lobbied for the invoice’s approval, saying motorcycles offer a quicker shipping approach for the general public.
